Ordering, Shipping and Delivery

How do I place my order?
You can place your order using our secure and user-friendly website. If you encounter an error on the website during the ordering process, please call us at 337.278.6960.

When do I place my order?
Your order should be placed
Monday-Friday for delivery on Sunday of that specific week.
What is the minimum I can order?
The minimum order for delivery is $80.00 in food, plus tax and delivery fee.
Is there a delivery charge?
Yes, there is a $16.00 delivery fee per order.
Where do you deliver?
We currently deliver meals to a limited New Orleans and Metairie area. Just contact us to find out more.
How are meals packed and delivered?
All Masala delivery meals are carefully packed in tightly sealed, individually labeled BPA free plastic containers, then brought to you in insulated cooler bags with ice packs by our delivery staff, if you are not planning to be home please leave a ice chest outside for delivery. The food containers we provide are recyclable, and if you don’t plan on reusing them, please recycle!
Can I have my food delivered while I am not home?
Yes. If you are not planning on being home for your delivery, please leave an ice chest outside and we will store your food there. Our Delivery service includes an insulated bag for your food.

What if I do not put an ice chest outside and I am not home for the delivery?
Your food will be left for you in an insulated bag.
Is there a delivery time slot on Sunday delivery?
Due to order volume, we keep a wide window between 12PM to 4pm on Sundays. It depends on where your location falls in our delivery route.
What if delivery staff can not access to our condo/apartment because I am not answering the phone or name directory has a different last name or I am not home at the time of delivery?
• Full name and address.
• Provide us with your cell phone number not the land line.
• Watch the delivery window and answer the phone.
• Customers are responsible to provide correct and listed last names on apartment/condominium building directories. (Please provide us with your access code (if possible)).
• We will not make more than one attempt to deliver the food. Masala is not responsible for technical problems in building directories.
• No refunds will be issued for the food for any of the above reasons.
Do I need to be home to receive the meals?
No. Our delivery staff will leave the package in your cooled ice chest for you at designated place.

About Our Meals

How are our meals prepared?
All of our meals are prepared and cooked by our professionally trained staff at our commercial kitchen in Lafayette La. We use freshly ground spices, the leanest high quality meat, fresh vegetables, and whole grains in our dishes, no packaged spices or preservatives are added to any of our dishes.
How many servings are in each meal?
Each serving of our entrees is enough for at least two adults with accompaniments like rice and naan. You can order serving amounts according to the size of your family or group. We take care of all your dietary restrictions. All vegetarian/vegan and non-vegetarian, halal…….entrees are packed in 16 oz. deli containers.  Rice entrees are packed in 32 oz. containers.
How do I reheat the meals at home when I receive them?
The meals can be reheated by microwave in the plastic containers in which they arrive.
